Student inventory
Keep equipment and chemical stock records in this browser and export a portable backup.
Records stay in this browser. Export a backup before changing devices or clearing site data. This record is an organisational aid; it does not certify a chemical, a storage arrangement or a procedure.

Method and assumptions
Section titled “Method and assumptions”One row describes one identifiable item or chemical stock, including its exact form, lot and storage location. Keep two batches separate when their condition or history differs. Record quantity with its unit rather than writing a bare number, and distinguish supplier expiry from a review date you chose for your own organisation.
The inventory is an educational organisational aid. It does not validate compatibility, prove that a container is suitable, replace its label, or determine whether a material remains fit for use. Record the supplier safety data sheet’s revision and where it can be retrieved. Follow the course’s storage and labelling methods and the actual product documentation.
Saving writes to this browser only. JSON backups preserve the field structure for import into the same workspace on another device. CSV provides a readable table for a spreadsheet; values that could be interpreted as spreadsheet formulas are escaped. Import first validates the backup and shows how many records would be added, then waits for you to add them. Existing records are retained, so importing a backup twice creates duplicates.
Keep a dated backup outside the browser. Private browsing, storage quotas and site-data clearing can remove access to local records. If storage is unavailable, export the in-memory records before closing the tab. Print a copy where it helps the work, but continue to maintain physical labels at each container.
Evidence and record
Section titled “Evidence and record”Read the teaching method and its sources. Keep your inputs, the displayed assumptions and the result together; a result detached from its conditions cannot be checked.
