The calibration record set

Each sheet is the written half of a procedure that already exists. The steps are numbered here the way they are numbered there, so a sheet is filled in from top to bottom while the procedure is followed from step 1: CA-1 to CA-3 follow checking the balance and verifying the thermometer, and CA-4 and CA-5 follow calibrating a pH meter. CA-6, the graduate, is the third of the three commissioning checks, taught in commissioning your laboratory.

Print the instrument you are checking, not the set. A filled sheet goes into the calibration log at the front of the notebook, one instrument to a page, because ten entries on one page make a drifting thermometer visible and no single check can do that.
